The secret with all high quality decorating is preparation. If a surface is not properly prepared, the job will always be second rate.
Some decorators will do a minimum of preparation and, as a result, your home may look okay when you hand over your hard-earned money, but just a few short months later, the paint may be flaking off the doors, the wallpaper peeling from the walls, and the bare wood of your external windows exposed to the elements once again.
